 I think these words of wisdom will feature in my next cross-stitch creation - somewhat nobler than my last...

 There was something not quite right about this from the start

Then things got distinctly owl-shaped

 And this is what my poor sister got for her birthday

The kit really did come from the 99p store, the colours were probably the ones for the golden retriever in a garden picture, and the frame is from Wilko. I also bought my sister some cosy pajama trousers from M&S :)
